Hi, I was planning a trip in Jan 2008 to Ho Chi Minh city but before I decide my dates for your hotel availability I need to know if the shops and restaurants will be shut during this time due in preparation for Tet? Please let me know if I should postpone my trip to Feb end in order to have a better stay. Thank you.

Many businesses will be closed between the 6th and 11th of February so if you’re heading up in January you won’t have any problems.
